Bristol City U11's 9-1 Frys Colts U12's

We were lucky enough to be hosted by Bristol City's Academy,

and we played their Under 11 team. Due to various restrictions

the game was played on a half sized astro-turf with 5-a-side

goal-nets and we played 9-a-side. That said, it was an excellent

lesson in controlled play, exploiting the right situation, and

counter-attack football. The final result of 9-1 was fair, although

well done to Sam for getting our one! We did put together a

nice succession of passes which culminated with Aaron crossing

from the right for Sam to slip into the bottom left. The main aim

however was to get a good run out after two months of cancellations

and we certainly ran! On a sad note, it was Chilly's last appearance

for us as the lure of Rugby finally proved to be too much, and it was

fitting that he was voted Man of the Match by Rob Harvey! We wish

him all the best for the future and expect complimentary tickets when

he plays for England at Twickenham!!! We hope to see Chilly, as well

as Ann & Cooch as often as they can, as they are most welcome at

our Club whenever they are there, and we count them as good friends.
